Current Coordinates

I am a final-year computer science student. I have experience in programming, problem-solving, and designing projects for class assignments. I have taken courses in software development, algorithms, and data structures. I have used tools like PowerPoint and Canva, I have done basic video and image editing for presentations. Organizing content for assignments taught me to communicate ideas clearly. I also have knowledge of learning and teaching principles from courses. My strengths include technical skills, logical thinking, and persistence. I want to improve my ability to create interactive multimedia and use storytelling to make learning engaging. I also want to connect my technical background to practical educational design.

Mapping the Route

I want to design multimedia learning projects that are interactive and clear. I am interested in web-based activities, simple prototypes, and educational web pages. I want to apply design thinking to plan projects that support learning outcomes. I will experiment with AI tools to help with ideas and content while evaluating their usefulness. My goals align with the course objectives. I want to understand how learning affects multimedia design, produce prototypes, and combine principles, deisgn and technology. I also want to explore different types of media, including visuals and interactive content, to make learning experiences more effective. By the end of the course, I want to produce resources that help learners focus and engage with content.

Anticipating Turbulence

Creating interactive prototypes will be challenging. Applying design principles while keeping projects clear will take practice. I will ask for feedback from classmates and the instructor, and test my projects repeatedly to improve them. I will break larger projects into smaller steps to make them manageable. Learning how to integrate multimedia elements with teaching goals will require trial and adjustment. Challenges will give me opportunities to strengthen my skills and gain confidence in multimedia design. I will track progress and reflect on each project to improve my approach.

This Flight Path shows where I am starting, what I want to achieve, and how I plan to get there. I will combine my computer science knowledge, technical skills, and multimedia experience to create interactive learning experiences that are clear, practical and effective. I will also focus on building skills that I can use in other courses and professional projects.
